PAC’s government structure is rooted and maintained in a system that ensures balanced participation and representation of local members, professionals linked to rural, sustainable development and Christian leaders.
Our system of participation guarantees the development and implementation of a collective vision according to the needs, potential and expectations of the target group.
The General Assembly is the body that discusses and approves the association’s strategic and operational framework, plans and policies, which orient strategy implementation. Members make decisions in accordance with the original principles, vision and mission while considering the current context. The General Assembly consists of permanent members and representatives of PAC’s members who are organized in Self-Managed Groups for Economic Development (GADEs).
Board of Directors
This body directs and monitors compliance with the policies and strategies approved by the General Assembly. The Board of Directors has the capacity to formulate proposals and resolutions to be approved by the core of the General Assembly. Seven members make up the Board of Directors: president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, comptroller and two chairpersons.
During Regional Meetings, producer representatives have an opportunity to elect delegates for the General Assembly. The elected officials go on to discuss and agree upon policies particular to their respective contexts.
